Pretty much EVERY ESC made in the last 20 years or longer have a built-in BEC. The purpose is to remove the old/required "receiver packs" of early ESC's.

The bigger question is, will your ESC BEC power your servo well?
For most ESC's, they can handle a single servo up to ~200inoz, then they struggle.
A Holmes Hobbies BR-XL can go a little higher on servo torque.
Anything stronger needs an external BEC.

Depending on your servo, you may be able to power it direct off the 2S LiPO battery pack/power input wires to the ESC. This gives plenty of power, no amp issues and 1 less part (no external BEC needed).

run mine on 3S all the time...ran it on 4S once...but not to see if it would fry the RX...rig ran great, RX never got hot. But I am running a MMP, which you can set the BEC to 6v. The other rig I have it in has a novak roostercrawler...I THINK the BEC is 3V?? I think
