Default Ultimate Newbie Problem

I need some specific help. I'm working with a Dx3r and a Wraith w/ a mamba max pro esc and tekin redline 13.5 sensored motor.

I'm new to everything. spektrum controllers, Electric cars and crawling in general. Can someone please help me sup up the controller with the proper Throttle/brake/drag brake settings.

I purchased the both the wraith and controller used. Bound the receiver and took off started screwing around. after noticing some issues like in reverse the truck was way more responsive and faster than in forward i started changin setting in the controller not knowing exactly what i was doing, and now its totally messed up. everythin still techincally works but at low speeds when torque is needed to motor kinda jerks on and off. and when you punch it its like your rolling on the throttle not instant. i first need to fix those 2 problems..

Again newbie here be kind

Eric

Is your sensor wire plugged in all the way?
Did you just mess with the radio or esc too?
Make sure your throttle end points are at 100 (or close to)

I'd start by downloading both manuals.

If the truck is "jerking" it sounds like it is cogging. Is the sensor cable installed and look to be in good condition? Did you switch motor wires around at all? Do you remember what you changed in the transmitter at all?

ok checked sensor wire and were good.
I only messed with the controller settings nothing on the esc
and end points meaning the "Trave" menu on the controller?

ok that helped alot...

now for the second part.

In reverse the wraith is way more aggressive meaning faster and snappier how can i adjust get the reverse a little mellower and the forward motion more agressive?

7. Holding full throttle on your transmitter, turn the switch ON.
A. After a few seconds you’ll hear multiple tones and the red LED will come on.
B. Now hold full brake and after a few seconds you’ll hear multiple tones and the yellow LED
will come on.
C. Now relax to neutral and after a few seconds you’ll hear multiple tones and ALL the LEDs
will light up.
D. A few seconds later the ESC will arm with a double tone and you’re ready to go!

You do this?

Did you set the throttle profile on your esc to sensored via the Castle Link?

That is called "calibrating the ESC to the RX", something you should ALWAYS do with a new ESC. It's also a good idea when the ESC starts acting weird.
