Default Angled rod ends?

We all know that the Revo and Jato rod ends are where its at right, but-;

Is there a way to bend them (like heating them up with a heat gun maybe?) to get them to work with stock links/chassis setups? Most stock rod ends are crap and I don't really feel like fabbing up new links either.

Can the rc4wd ends be tapped for 4mm and still be strong enough?

At 6mm outside diameter, I doubt it. Wouldn't leave much wall thickness.

These work great but they're not light. I used them on my 10lb+ Bully basher that would eat up plastic rod ends...but not these.

I've never had any trouble with the straight rod ends on stock chassis. If it bothers you, bend the link itself to get the rod end to go in straighter.

Is the hole in the ball for M3 or M4?
