Default New to rc and new wraith owner questions

I have a new wraith and bought pitbull tires and axiel rims. Do I need to weight them?

I bought a wireless winch too. I have no clue how to plug it in?
Do I need a spare battery?
I am a machinist I'm sure I can mount it on stock bumper behind lights.

I will buy upgrades as I need/break. But I'm trying to read more and learn.

Battery location? Should I move from stock location?
How? Is there a area I can view this?

Any advice would be great. I'm not great at searching but I'm learning.
Thank you

I moved my battery up front under the hood and it helped me alot for going up steep hills. And I had weights in my front wheels but when I wrecked and couldnt stop it from rolling down the hill it stripped my servo so after 2 new servos I took the weights out but I guess it depends on how much weight because I had alot

It's been hard not to pull the trigger on a wraith... How do you like it?

I'm liking it! Wish I got kit version because I'm moving battery immediately and making the hood hinge. I got a rc4wd winch to figure how to plug in too.

Pitbull 2.2's almost ready too.
Definetly a cool project.
