A two link suspension is totally possible. It's what my father runs on the front end of his yj so I don't see why it wouldn't work on an RC. You just half to run a track bar for alignment. I guess the only problem in this case might be that you cant use extra materials.

Thats what I was trying to say in the beginning. It's all in how you look at things and how you word them. Some might concider the trackbar as a 3rd link. While many don't. I still say that if you follow the exact wording of the original poster that it is not possible. Remember he put a lot of stipulations such as no home-made links and 2 stock links from the kit. Ok, I went back and opened those links in IE and they worked. I see no lateral support in that suspension. Nor do i see how it will keep pinion angle. Maybe the pics aren't showing everything. not bad, now go hit the rocks! traction bars are used as links on the axles to combat wheelhop on leaf sprung trucks |
