Default Evolving..........

I am running a AE-3 with Nimh 2200mAh, I decided to stick with what I know, the last time I owned a rc, lipo wasn't around and if it was it was above my pay grade. I want to switch over to lipo but I know nothing, if any one has some insight to lend me it would be great. Keep in mind I am a week end crawler and don't want to pour a bunch of money into it.

go with any brand lippo, with an amount of appropriate mAh.. having a 5000mAh I ran for more than an hour or so.. I never ran out of juice, just got bored before it ever ran out

oyeaa don't forget to get a proper digital lipo charger

What type of crawler do you use?
For what do you use it?
Which is more important to you; excellent crawling performance or long run time?

In a competition where you need maximum performance for up to ten minutes a couple of small battery packs (change battery between each course) are the best.
For a leisure trail run you want a bigger battery to last several hours.

I have had good luck with Venom 4000mah 20c batteries and i use a Venom charger that cost me $48 and allows me to charge 2 of the 2 cell batteries at once. I have several different crawlers ( each with their own purpose ) and those batteries seem to work quite well for me

i have found the best when it comes to lipos is to get small 2000 mah and get a few. that how i run. i keep my rig as light as possible and huge lipos just arent worth it
