Replacement battery for redcat Everest 16 stock

Just purchased a new redcat 16 and want to get an extra battery, what are my options, and what connectors do redcats use?

Their site doesn't say or I didn't see it, watched the video an looks like Tamiya plug. I'd cut that off, solder on XT-60 or some other high quality connectors and buy new battery accordingly. Stock battery is 7.2 volt nimh, prolly 2/3A size cells.

Great, so if I get the battery in your link, I'd change the connector on the redcat to a traxxas connector, correct?

If thats true, i just ordered a traxxas slash as well and looking for batteries and a charger for that, it would make charging batteries much simpler.

Sure, change all your battery/ESC plugs to whatever you like. Tamiya plugs are not good, Deans are outdated and there are many better plug options now. Traxxas would be good and then you don't have to change battery plugs too. I like Hobbyking XT-60, but Traxxas is good.
