|  Cheapest 1:10 Wrangler Unlimited
Hey folks, I'm new here. All I currently have is a ECX stadium truck beater, but my new project is building a scale model of my JKU and a teardrop trailer that I will soon build full size. I know the scx10 is the king of the Wranglers, but this is more for show, so is there a cheap scx10 clone that will hold the JKU body? I'm not looking for durability, it's just for show mostly. Athens29 - Good looking JKU! You can get the bodies on ebay for about $70, but the guts of the vehicle are $250+ even used on CL.  |

Getting into the crawler RCs is proving difficult - and risky. I've found a few people that have decided to sell theirs, but they've been modified quite a bit. Some of the work is hard to tell how "well" it was done without seeing it in person. I've got my eye on one currently, but they seem to want as much for a new one due to their 'mods'.

Customizing and scale looks all add up to hole in the wallet, it all depends on how you want the finished product to come out!

What's your budget? Are you looking to build an entire scale rig, or do you just want a JKU body? if you just want the body, ProLine has a lexan body for $46

If just for show is all you want, look around banggood or gearbest for the HG P401 or HG P402. Ive seen them go for anywhere from low $80s to $150ish
