Default Aftermarket Support?

New to RC. Was saving to get a RR10, but recently decided mini/micro is for me. Which small scale rigs have the most aftermarket support? Although I am giving size, I still want to tinker and build.

My reasoning for the change is that instead of 1 Bomber I could maybe get 2-3 of something smaller so I can introduce my daughter or my friends to the hobby. But I'll still want the option to upgrade.

My preference is a scale trail vehicle.
