| Tire glue
So my team muchmore tire glue dried up, is there a special way to store the glue ? My glue was in a Ziploc, in a cool place. It was in my tool box , honestly I didnt know that happens . Sucks ! Is all glue makers(company's) the same? |

I think all superglue dries up on it's own if left sitting for too long, especially if it's been opened and exposed to air. I bought a bottle of the Loctite Gel a year or so ago, and went to use it last weekend, and it was hard as a rock, and I didn't even have it out of the packaging yet.

People swear storing open bottles in the fridge is the way to go.

After opening them, I put a 3x3" piece of ultra-thin plastic shopping bag between the bottle and the cap to seal air out.

Aka is not only is the best I've used but the cap has a steel pin that closes the bottle positively.

Look at the cap from the top, there is a steel pin that plugs the bottle.

Over the years, I've tried lot of CA glue along with different thicknesses. bSi is, by far, my favorite and is labeled for many RC shops/stores, and a person may not even know it's bSi glue. Thin CA glue would be my recommendation for gluing tires and glue longevity. Currently using Great Planes PRO CA (again) for my tires. Great results as always. I use to buy large quantities, then have half of glue go to waste. Now I just buy .5 oz bottles of thin CA when needed, and stick it in the fridge after use. The fridge is CA's best friend. Just remember to keep it out of reach of any nosy lurkers.

Is it a fact that the fridge keeps the glue from hardening, or its like a myth and apparently it works some how ?

AKA, BSI, etc, formulated for tire gluing. After opening, I put the bottle in a large prescriptioin pill bottle with a cap, then in the fridge, this does help it last longer.
