Default Introduction and question concerning MicroCrawlers

Hello,

I am writing from Hamburg, Germany.
50 Years old, have some (older) experience with nitro driven RC-Helis and some newer experience with e-RC-Helis, but
I'm quite new to the crawler world and I am looking for RTD crawlers in scale 1:32.
Unfortunately, my research has not produced any satisfying results so far.
If there are some models/sets available (mostly in 1:35), these are build-it-yourself kits.
Or RTR-Crawlers that are not available in Europe, only in the US.

So I am looking forward to getting pointed in the right direction.
Thanks in advance and best regards,

Dieter

Like Aqua said, the Axial SCX24 is a popular RTR in the US.

Otherwise kits might be your only option for that small scale from what I've seen.

Can you not buy US products? I buy EU and China RC parts quite often.

Thanks for your Input, Aqualung and Hoyle.

Of course I have seen the SCX from Axial.
But: Horizonhobby is the official distributor for Axial in Germany, and currently only some 1:10 are available in Germany.
Not one SCX model in 1:24.

And when ordering in the US in most cases shipping an Customs almost double the price....

Regards,

Dieter

Dieter, mein Freund!

Search for Orlandoo (with 2 "o") R/C vehicles, 1/35 scale.

That's about all that's out there, and unfortunately they are kits.

Durok,

thanks for the update.
Seems like I have to buy a magnifying glass and an Orlandoo Kit und build it myself.

Hopefully, the interest in micros gains a little momentum in the future....

Regards,

Dieter

Hi Dieter,

in this size i only know the orlandoo kit as mentioned by durok.
If you dicide to get one of these you can order it from Hobbyking.com https://hobbyking.com/de_de/catalogs...orlandoo%20kit , they have an EU warehouse.

Viel Spass beim bauen und fahren

Thanks, Yeti (oder "Moin"),

I just looked at hobbyking - the Pajero currently costs only 38€ (after putting it in the basket) – unfortunately, the electronics/motor is currently not available at hobbyking.
And I am not sure which transmitter/receiver I will use, so I still have some research to do to answer

- which engine to use
- which servo to use (Orlandoo servos are low voltage as far as I know)
- which receiver
- which transmitter
- which esc.

But we are getting there - thanks for all your help!

Regards,

Dieter

Dieter, here is a great way to start your research:

http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/searc...rchid=10998885

There are 70+ threads on the forum about the Orlandoo series of vehicles...

I hope this helps!

Hello Durok,

tried your search - unfortunately, searches seem to bei user-Specific. Got an error message.

Which terms did you search? Orlandoo?

Thanks again,

Dieter
