Axial scx 10ii . 1.9 tires really like the predator compound by proline but not sure which tires to choose. It’s the red Jeep body so please keep in mind the look does matter to me when giving your advice. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Pick which one you like the looks of best. I prefer the Krawlers or KM3's. You also need to decide on size. Class 1 (4.19") or Class 2 (4.75"). Each have their own pros/cons which is explained all over these forums. Your terrain, driving style, etc will all determine performance. Terrain more than anything. Again... pick which one YOU like the LOOKS of best and run with it. |

Agreed, proline has a lot of good options that you’ll likely be happy with. I see you’re in Vegas, if interested check out Battle Born RC on Facebook, it’s a local group and we’ll post about meet ups and whatnot. |

Being South West with mostly dry conditions in sand and rock, I would go with Bfg Crawler or Km3. I am not sure how the Predator compound will do in the heat of summer, so you might want to look at the G8 compound as well.

Tire selection comes down to the type of terrain you're running on, personal preference in how the rig feels on the tires, driving style, etc. There's no magic bullet. Topher nailed it. Go to some local events and see what people are running and having success with. You'll also want to ask them about how their rig is set up, tuned. (sag, spring rates, oil weights, weight of their rig) Additionally, you'll want to get a handle on what foams to run with the tires you select. It can be some trial and error, but talking to a lot of different people will definitely help. The bottom line is that proper tire and foam selection is probably one of THE single most noticeable upgrades you can do for your rig.
