| Looking to get a TF2 LWB RTR, can I run a lipo on the stock ESC?
Edit: question has been answered. New to the scale crawler and trail scene, here. I've been searching around and I'm wanting to get the Trail Finder LWB. I've found out about all the quirks with getting a new TF2 and I'm prepared for that. Chino mod, shock spring, leaf, helper leaf etc. The power supply on the other hand, I am not. I can easily swap the Tamiya plug for a Dean's but I haven't been able to find if the ESC is capable of handling a lipo. I have a couple 2s lipos with Dean's plugs I'd much prefer to use. Would I have to change the esc or be stuck with the Tamiya/ nimh? Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks all! Last edited by RW413; 04-20-2020 at 08:45 PM. |
