I have built the Traxxas Trx4 and the Axial scx10 ii builders kit, is the HPI Venture SBK worth a look? Anyone?

Yes, very nice build and very capable rig. I really like mine, HPI is coming back so parts will be available soon again at least that's what RPP Hobby announced a couple weeks ago.

I don't own one but the two things that keep stopping me from getting one is the lack of aftermarket parts and the fact that the venture keeps vanishing from hobby shop websites, it makes me feel like they're being discontinued. I really want to build one but I'm not willing to suffer though finding parts for an obscure discontinued rig I've already had that experience with a losi night crawler and I don't want that again. Maybe look at the element builders kit or the trail king or the capra, these aren't going to be discontinued any time soon. If HPI starts showing real signs of a come back then I might get one, but right now it is just too much of a risk. |

The Venture is a great truck. The scale-ish drivetrain is very cool. I just have no faith in HPI which is why I'm selling mine. Plus, I'm out of room for RC's.
