Default Tire Heights

So I've been looking at the RC4WD tires, but can't decide what to get. I have the C10 SCX24 so the tires OD measures in around 1.9 inches. I'm not entirely sure if I want to go taller, thinking that would raise my CG, but I was thinking bigger diameter means easier rolling resistance.

I am new to crawling so I am still learning the things. Do I go up in size or do I look for something that has a chunkier tread pattern?

Please help!

Thats all gonna depend on the direction you want to go with it.

Do you mind cutting open the fender to make room for bigger tires? if not you might not want anything thats bigger that the C10 tires, I know they're already a bit on the small side. I have a feeling not many tires will fit the C10's smaller fenders without some cutting or body rub.

A bigger tire will raise the CG and make driving over obstacles a bit easier, they also increase the wheelspeed a bit.

I honestly don't know what I want to do with it. I was thinking about putting on a hard body model, but not sure what yet. Maybe a Hilux or old school International or Land Rover. I'm not totally against cutting fenders out, but don't want to go too dramatic with it.

I was looking at the Wrangler tires from RC4WD, but I was also contemplating the BF Goodrich. I like the challenge of smaller tires, but the stock ones are too slippery.

Thanks for pointing out details I haven't thought of with looks and body modification! I'll keep that in mind!

I think RC4WD make some smaller size Dirt Grabbers if that's what you are looking for. They are more scale tires than crawling tires though.
