Default AE-1 receiver

My 12 year old found my box of old dead crawlers in the garage so here we go! My question is what receiver is a budget friendly direct replacement for the axial AE-1 since it doesn't appear to be available. Still using the stock transmitter that came with the AX-10

Isn't going to be one most likely. No one uses that set up anymore.

Easy cheap route would be a flysky radio and receiver off Amazon. Under $50

And that setup will work with the stock ESC for the axial ax10?

buy a new radio it shouldent be to hard to find a reciver and or new cryztals but why its gona cost almost as much as a new radio
and the new ones have made huge improvments since those were a thing i have 4 or 5 of those old radios still but dont care to use them
you can get a decent radio for $30-$40 and a some really nice ones in the $60-$80 range

and the savings in AA batterys alone will pay for the radio in 3 to 6 months

ive mostly been using flysky radios cause there cheap like me lol and they came with my axials.
there are so many cheap radios out nowdays and they all have crazy features i would never even have thought of you can program them 12 ways to sunday and theres still more settings lol

with todays scale.rigs everything works off the controler your lights your winch the shifters your dig features your music player tv remote and massage mode so you probably want 4 or more channels the more the better one guy on here was looking for a 18 channel radio lol the 16 he had were full up i dont know how or why but some people go crazy

you could always post up what you plan to buy and some one here is bound to have used it and im sure would share there exsperiance with it
