So I ran through a couple battery packs tonight to test the tires. I ran it in the yard, giving the dog quite a workout , and ran it in the street for a bit. So far it looks like the tires are going to hold together and the traction is great. I was getting about 18 minutes of run time out of my 3600 Venom packs. That was with a 17t pinion. Looks like it's ready for the races.

This is what I am getting. After seeing this! I can make a track at my property, The power line company even ran tons of dirt about 1-2' deep under the powerline across our property in the back.. I got me some dirt. I love the look of yours but I think high cut fenders are a must! http://www.raceindustry.com/ART/MIGI...camburg_10.jpg |

griz would you still recomend the narrow (rock crawler) revolvers for NON narrowed tires, ie sand paddles? id be worried around cornering if the sidewalls are bowed out. do you think standard revolvers would clear knuckles/arms etc? i wonder what the offset is on the standard revolvers, they only list the offset for the narrow crawler versions.

I have seen guys running full width electric pede rear wheels and full Dirt Works tires on the rear of a Slash with no problems. I don't know if they would work on the front, I doubt it. The ones I have seen had stock tires up front. I'm pretty sure the "narrow wheelbase" rockcrawler wheels are the same as Pede electric rear wheels but with width taken away from the inner side. Full Dirt Works tires on the rear on Pede Revolver rear wheels with narrowed Dirt Works tires up front on Rockcrawler wheels would be a sweet setup I think. FYI, I am still running the RPP aluminum wheels and narrowed Dirt Works tires at all four corners. The wheels are working great and the glued tires are still holding up fine to the 16T double motor on 8 cells. For paddles, I just mounted mine on a set of Junfac Mudrock beadlocks. I had to modify the inner rings. I bet paddles would work on electric Pede rear wheels though. Last edited by Grizzly4x4; 09-02-2008 at 09:51 AM.
