Right on we all need more options for the slash with new chassis!!! How well do you think it will hold up to bashing?? Like landing on its lid from maybe 10+ feet? I'm going to try get some vids of the stupid things we do with our slashes.

Yes Sol...it's time consuming making these "lathe cut" bellcrank posts on my lil craftsman drill press for testing fingers are all tore up right now from the file slipping and the parts flying out of the baby drill chuck

This thing will definitely hold up to a good bashing...heck, that's what I've been putting mine through since day one. More pics and data coming veeery soon!

hehe, this one? It's awaiting some final revision DNA parts right now including but not limited to...delrin clod center axle cases and modular super wheels I'll post up in the clod section once I get some more parts in

As for the Slash, I've just about got the whole thing mocked up now and will be posting pics here shortly.

No it's an improved Slash. The shock towers allow for the use of shocks as big as those found on most 1/8th scale buggies. Which is what I have on mine. The chassis also gets rid of any flex or twist and the best feature is that it lowers the battery tray area which lowers the CG for better handling. Basically what the chassis does is allows for a fully tunable bullet proof ride. Remember this is only the Beta version just wait until you see the finished final version.

this is really nice looking. if I were to grab one of these I'd have a complete other slash as my most recent purchase was a GH alloy tranny case and a metal gear set, speaking of which, damn my LHS charges too much for bearings
Yeah, I think I'm going to get one of these, keep us posted

I'm going to try to finish mine up with the STC aluminum hubs, knuckles, and arms. It should look pretty damn tough.
