ok thanks. do you know if its possible to still use the mechanical brake the e conversion?

Yes sir... it is intended although not required to do so. Was a big factor in my choice of conversion;)

Bro!!! you gotta take a few mins to slap that tekno conversion together??? you dont know what your missin with the mech. clutch and brakes... its a completely different beast! im currently runnin the V3 Tekno kit in my RC8E, and its bout the sickest RC i've ever owned. im really lookin forward to some vids of those 80mph runs in the near future??? i got mine geared for bout 45-50 mph... heres a lil pic of mine to get you moo-tivated a bit...
