Here's one of the videos Sean took last night, I'm the fat guy all the way towards the right of the shot and the Dave (the slash's owner/driver) is behind the trucks. My truck is on Dave's left and has the red LED strip on the bottom of the wing. It's hard to see in this video, but Dave must have found some course concrete where we started at because that was the first time my truck has wheelied while slammed as low as it is! RC Drag Race - YouTube I haven't had the chance to upload them yet, but I have a few pics I texted to Dave so he could see last night's setup ahead of time......I gus he and his friends that I race with find it kind of intimidating |

Here's a combination of the rest of what Sean shot, the last minute or so is when the motor started to die. 1/10 Scale Traxxas Slash and E-Revo Racing - YouTube |

Thats looks pretty cool, you need some street tires to go with that stance. I wanna get some phaltlines for mine, i wish someone made some MT sized foam tires.

Thanks Luke, I have thought about buying another set of those rims and Proline's new Traxxas bead street tires for it, those were the closest to what I wanted at the time.

Yeah i prefer dish rims also. I like the strength of them. Did you just lessen the preload to lower it or ziptie the rockers together?

I completely brought the collars up on the front shocks and used a 3mm allen wrench to set the rears. I also had the thicker Traxxas sway bars on it with the front links near the top of the front bar and the rear links as far down as they'll get on the rear bar without binding on the chassis. The caster is maxed out up front , the upper hinge pins are in the bottom holes, then I had the camber set at 0° front and 1° rear with what I hope was around 0° toe front and rear. I tried the same on my Fiesta with the 1/10 VXL system in it and the wide VTA tires would rub and it wod swap ands at the drop of a hat. Ended up leaving the front the same as the E-Revo's, but threw in a bunch of camber and toe to the rear. Went in a straight line beautifully, but the rear wheels kinda have a "I gotta pee!!!!!" look to them |

lol..Im looking for something right now to make my pavement rocket. Preferably a 4wd buggy. Either 1/8, 1/10 or 1/16. Or a slash 4x4 to make a backslash out of. Im tired of the super low ride height of the touring car.

That's what I like about my Fiesta, while it is supposed to be an on road car, being a pint sized Revo does allow for better rough surface use over my M-03 (which is being swapped tp M-05 knuckles and caster blocks) or my electric 4-Tec.

The wide VTA rear rubber and the "I gotta pee" rear alignment seemed to really work nicely on the Rally chassis. Turns out the M-05 front knuckles and uprights work really nicely on the M-03's, I swear the steering circle is now about 3/4 of what it used to be!
