Default fred0000's e-maxx

I always found bashing to be boring as fawk, but finaly a few buddys are getting into it and its not so bad, I had 3 RC cars but refused to bash any of them as they were dedicated race/track trucks. I ended up trading my 2wd SC truck towards this brushless edition e-maxx, I snagged it for $300 + my SC10 trade in, pretty good deal considering it only has a packs worth of run time on it.
it came with RPM arms all around and RPM shock towers, all it needs now is aluminum shock bodies and aluminum bulkheads and i'm happy.

I couldn't wrap my head around having an RC this large and heavy with plastic geared servos' so that was the first thing I took care of, I had an axial AE-2 on hand and picked up a second one for cheap.

these servo's effortlessly overdraw the internal BEC on the mamba monster so I added a BEC I had laying around and direct wired it to the servo's
steering has much more power then stock and have peice of mind with metal geared servo's.

I have yet to run it, I will be taking it out tomarow. I will run it on 2 x 2s gens ace 4000mah 25c lipo's.

Nice, i love my brushless revo. I wish the revo had the maxx's chassis setup though. I like the forward motor and open battery trays. But i like the revos handling characteristics better. I guess i just want the best of both worlds lol...And on 2s it will be a beast, what gearing are your running?

2x2s you mean? therefore it would be 4s, it's still got the stock gearing 17-68

I was originaly wanting to get a brushless erevo but this deal came up and I couldn't let it pass. (it has better electronics then both my 1/8 scale race trucks)
