Kyosho Outlaw Rampage Truck

Hello, my uncle gave me his outlaw rampage truck to fix, its all there even in its original box The thing is the pull start is broke, the metal coil is messed up. I been researching and found this site 12 CZ-R with Kyosho Recoil Parts Listing - Discontinued which lead me to this pull start Twisted RC :: Kyosho Starter Assembly(GS11/CZ :: KYO74381 I think it will work but im not sure. Im wanting to get the it going any suggestions?

Many "Coils" are the same or can be modded to fit by cutting or bending the coil......
OR
Get rid of the Pull start and go with an electric start by OFNA

You can even turn that thing into an Electronic rocket
with a conversion trans that mounts to the original motor stands

Just depends on what your uncle wants to spend

Nice! i would like to convert it to electric start. He wants to keep it nitro. I personally would like to see it electric just for kicks who makes those conversion trans?
I was looking at that OFNA auto start but it says its for .21-.26, I think my engine is .12 smaller?

Do you know what engine is in your truck? I've got a lot of spare parts for kyosho/os engines just need to know the model you have. Some of the older engines hav a red pull-start cover. Some CZ OS variants use a hex key that goes into an internal one-way bearing.

It is a OS-Max-CV-R (k) 2BK Thats all i could find on the motor, it has a black cover.

If its an OS MAX then your all set

They still make that motor

It's not a KYOSHO brand motor

Just Google search .12 OS MAX pull starter Rebuild

But your LHS should carry them in stock
