Carisma M14 - given to me

so my neighbor was telling me he has a fast rc car and he hasnt used it in years..

so i was like.. well hand it over... he laughed and said when he finds it he will bring it over..

well a few suds in.. in my garage he came over and handed it to me..
wow this lil thing is cool... charging it now..

anyone know anything about these?

Look up sportswerks recoil, it's the US version of that car. I still have one, carbon fiber chassis and aluminum hop ups. I had a brushless set up and it held up just fine

I have a Sportwerks Recoil (Charisma GT14), with the foams blown out of the tires, did that on 3S with a Castle micro setup.

Iill post up pics.... Was driving it and broke it.. For a 7.2v nicd setup it is fast... I broke plastic in front of rear tire....

well i broke the part that holds the antennae up.. no biggie.. so i broke the other side off to match.. dont need it...

you can see the part that broke so i broke the other side off so it matches..

all in all.. it moves.. cant gas it or it spins out.. needs better tires or something..

also you can see the rear has a single spring.. i need to put a stiffer spring in there.. tonight i took it apart and stretched the stocker but thinking maybe a pen spring in there as it will be mostly compressed.. not sure...

i will be going at least 2s lipo at first.. need to get a buzzer off of ebay...
and maybe a better esc and then 3s!!!! will see...

Oh man, yours is a different version. Here is mine. I had ordered this body but it's a sportswerks recoil.
I have the GTR carisma, this car was awesome. I have foams somewhere. My friend and I put electric tape on the wheels and used them as drifters pretty fun!

Yeah u have real shocks... This thing could have the esc swapped.. Has a 370 sized motor so not sure on the options but all in all it is fun like this. If you dont gas it... It goes fine.. Gas it and it zips out from under itself......

yeah well i had a few brewskis and took it out for a ride.. well lost the antenna... cant find it..

so I went into my spare parts box.. my ax10 top electronics/battery plate had the esc antenna tube holder.. so viola.. used that.. then took the wire from the new bright camaro...
soldered it and shrink tubed it...

so anywho...

i need to figure out how to get a real shock in this thing.. can anyone think of something that would work? maybe a pen spring or a few jammed in there????
