Asheville Area Meetups

Hello NC crawlers, I am new to crawling and this site, but have been in RC for most of my life. After attending the crawling event in Canton yesterday, it occurred to me that crawling is a lot more fun if you have others there to do it with. I am proposing that we try and see if we can get a regular WNC group together to crawl on a regular basis. I'm seeing teams in other areas that all play together and then go to comps as a group, which I think would be a blast. I am thinking maybe a Sunday afternoon meetup somewhere around Asheville, maybe we could check out some different places together? We could even put on some comps as a group. Just some ideas, I'd love to see the crawling scene in Asheville grow and become more united. I know there are a bunch of crawlers around, lets see if we can get them together.

Yeah, it was great getting to meet you last weekend after seeing you on ARC for a while now. I was out at Scoutdawgs tonight and we were talking about going to that Black Mountain property soon to check it out. He was saying we might try something this weekend. I'll be out of town all day Saturday, but should have most of Sunday free.

Im a couple weeks late, but I got a crawler turned scaler and it would be awesome to get a group together and trail ride and crawl, Dont know of any setup course except HobbyTown USA in Swannanoa.

My Favorite place is Richmond Hill Frisbee Park, Its got some amazing scaler trails and a giant rock section to crawl and 2 to 3 good hill climb sections.
