I haven't exactly made up my mind, but I will still be in the cast until Aug., 23rd. And I'm not cutting it open early, so I really doubt it. Not to mention I don't know if I can walk when it's off anyways, they say rehab... If the action weren't hidden, and more handicap friendly visible, I'd fer sure be there. I think I said when I'm free again, I want to get together ASAP. For those wondering what to expect, you can expect a great time, and a great place to play. 9 hours is a bit long to drive for anything to me, but some people have no problem with it. If you're dying to get together with some people, have at it. But bring spare parts because breaking 9 hours away with nothing to fix it with would REALLLY stink. And look around for our videos from the last GTG, notice some water is present. Adam, drop the "e", your pal, Cory |

yeah not sure it is worth a 9 hr drive to cruise in a creek.. dont get me wrong it's a good place to play, just don't think it's worth 9 hrs... nothing like a Green River area CR--- by looking at your thread in the TXT section... is that lathe motor screwed up? |

Son of a *****!!!! I can't crutch through the woods... times 100! Dammit man, it's this stuff that makes me pretty ticked off at this cast ordeal. What about some back yard course set ups? |

I am up in the air as whether to make the drive. I am 4 hours out. Not as far as richmond but still quite a ways to drive. I will pm for directions later if I can make it. Sounds like a blast. I see all the water in the vids and you suggest to water proof, Is that just in case you slip?

| Corey you had better be there. Adam said he would haul youre *** around in the railer of the 4 wheeler. an Im sure a few people wouldnt mind flipping youre rig over when you roll it. An as for the crutches you would have no problem if we stuff you in a chair so you dont slip again . Adam count me in as being there. It onley abut a 2 hr drive or less. cant wait |

For you guys that have never been, it's a real short hike up a good sized hill and then back down to get to the spot. Or you can do a 5 minute walk up the rocky creek. Bring some good boots because you'll need the grip and you WILL get your shoes muddy. Bring a few spare batteries too. Right about now the creek is pretty dry. The water is avoidable, but fun to play in. If you dont want to get your rig wet, then just drive around the water. Corey, I dont blame you if you dont come. Theres no way you could get down and around the creek on crutches. Jeremy has a backyard course setup, we can go over to his house sometime. Last edited by AdamF; 08-08-2005 at 09:59 PM. |

Yeap, I was thinking Jeremy's, or even my place, but I might not be living here at that point. Or I might be back on my feets by then too. I'd like to throw an idea out: Spec Nylint class for the TSRCRC guys. I think I'd rather try the little one though, but I can be persuaded... but spending $50 > spending $150. Keep the funds where they really belong, on the real crawlers. I have a few friends interested too. It's CORY!!!!!! |

Cory, Cory, Cory, Cory, Cory, Cory, Cory. OK. I think I got it now. :-P I like em' big. I'm keeping an eye out for the 1:6 rig. Looks killer. But who knows, the 1:18 might be cool too. I have a friend or 2 that was asking about crawlers but diddnt want to spend $600. This might be perfect for them. I say lets get a TLT group going first. Since I have one on the way |

Im thincking of converting my tlt in to a scale crawler. Ive got a F650 body just beggind to be painted. Onley thing is it would put the wheel base at 14inches Kinda long not to have 4wheel streer. what do you guys thinck? |

Do you think a 10-11" WB would be too short?

Never driven one, but might as well go as long as the rules allow.

Pick a body, and stick the wheels in the fenders.

i just built my tlt this week so I will be able to have an OK ride.....need to soften up the shocks. I machined c hubs instead of attaching MGT linkages to the plastic housings. I put the Tamiya Carbon chassis on, Full bearings, locked diffs(center diff unlocked), T-maxx drive shafts from center to axel, 55t lathe motor, 4ws with tunable y harness, High power JR servo's, F1 pro reverse speedo, alum servo plate and servo washers, G made wheel widener, Hpi rims and Masher 2000 2.2 rubber and what might do more harm than good Integy shocks, I need to soften them up but I should have a day or so to mess with everything. I am hoping to get the brushless emaxx together, but want to run the txt, along with the hummer, waited too long to get parts for the pajero but might run it til it breaks. I am bringing a guy from Pit Row with me, he has his emaxx's... Looking forward to this.
