I will be there this weekend. I have some new parts to try. Made some bent links & new lockrings for the wheels, bought a set of FlatIrons & BadLands to try too. |

Looks pretty good. You going to come down for a comp? I haven't used the FlatIrons yet either, just got them. I have a set of Rock Claws, BadLands & Mashers depending on what is hooking up on the given terrain. Last edited by Headshok88; 09-02-2008 at 12:34 PM. |

I want to come down sometime but just started crawling not too long a ago so I don't know the rules or how a comp works exactly. is it a timed run with point deductions or is it a untimed run with point deductions. Or am I not even close.

right were the built the new track at springfield they built a drain ditch next to mccord and got a pile of rocks at one end. But the real cool spots I found were. both on salsibury rd maumee hickory farms has a huge area of rocks in front of building and on the side by parking lot they have a super super long area of rock landscaping. Also The hummer dealership has the hummer test course setup. I went by and the dudes were super cool and never asked me to leave or anything. They were closing up for the night and never said a word. I was there for about 30minutes or more. | |

| It is a little of both. We ran a time limit at the last comp just to keep things moving. The best way to learn how everything works is to come to a comp and run last in the first round. Watch what everybody else is doing watch how things are judged and ask plenty of questions. There is a really good group of guys running at HobbyTown, anyone would be more than happy to help you out. After one run you will know what is going on and then you can just focus on your driving.

The next comp should be this weekend if they stick to the every 2 weeks schedule. If it is this weekend I will be there.

As far as I know there should be one today at 1pm. Like mentioned every 2 wks. I won't be able to make it today. But, I hope you guys have a good time and fun. I've been to the Hickory Farms spot quite a few times. It's a great spot with something for about every type of Rig/Set-up. Would be very interested in meeting up there sometime.Same day we could hit this other spot I know of that's smaller but, very different. Good luck to all that go today. PS-tell Clay I'll be there for the next one. Chris |
