MIDWESTRCC SCALE TRAIL CHALLENGE FALL 2014 RULES

- Fastest time wins.
- Racers can start in as little as 2 minutes apart. (this is at the discretion of the event coordinator) If you are obstructing a faster participant you are required to give right of way to the faster driver.
- Courses should be greater than 5 but less than 10 minutes in length.
- Scale points based on SORRCA rules 2 seconds off per point, 60 point max.
- 35-40 gate courses.
- 30 second penalty for straddling a gate.
- 60 seconds for missing a gate completely.
- No penalty for bumping the gate, but all four tires have to progress through the gate.
- Rollover can be done by using a towstrap pulled by your hand, but will result in a 30 second penalty.
- DNF for touching your truck, you must use a tow strap or winch to rollover.
- 60 second penalty for repairs. The time keeper must be notified at time of breakage to stop time. If repair cannot be completed in under 15min, then DNF.
- No reverse penalty.
- 2 classes 1.9 & 2.2
- 1.5 runs with 1.9
- No comp tires, same ban list as SORRCA.
- You can sipe and cut or remove lugs, you can sand the sidewalls inside and out.
- No narrowing, reducing or enlarging tires.
- No dig or rear stear.
- No MOA.
- Rig has to be scale in apperance, no comp style rigs. If it's questionable, then ask before the series starts.

At the start of each series you will be required to email a picture of your rig and your total scale point allowance to the event coordinator. Rigs will be inspected at the time of the event as well, however this pre registration will expedite the process.

The goal of this adventure challenge is to promote scale RC enthusiasts in a fun yet challenging series. Sportsmanship is key. This will be a family atmosphere and everyone will conduct their selves accordingly. We need to show the positive side of our sport and encourage each other as well as newcomers.

If you are caught cheating you will be banned from the rest of the series with no refund of entry fee

Entry fee for the 4 event series will be $35 for the first class and $15 for the second, (this covers all 4 events) which will include a shirt that says "I survived" along with the event logo. There will be prizes and such for the top 2 1.9 and 2.2 drivers of the series, as well as a most scale, that will be determined by vote. (Prizes will be determined by amount of entries)
Events will be heald in 4 locations:
2 in bella vista Northwest Arkansas
1 in Jane Southwest Missouri, 1 1 broken dam in Oklahoma
Winners will be based on points given for their position on the events. You will take your best 3 finishes to get your total score. This way if you miss an event or have a bad day your not out of contention for the series.

The event series doesn't start till September 14th. This Sunday is just the pre registration for the series as well as an introduction to the rules and courses. There is still plenty of time if you guys want to attend. The series spans 4 months, the second Sunday of each month.

Its time to get down to business! On Sunday the 14th we will be hosting the first race of the MIDWESTRCC SCALE TRAIL CHALLENGE. "THE FALL BRAWL"
Location: THE SLAUGHTER PEN (north end of Bentonville, Ar. just off Walton and NW. A)
Times: event starts at 2pm with the 1.9 driver check in.
1.9 driver meeting and running order selection @ 2:15
Followed by 1.9 drivers race
At completion of the race the 1.9 special event will be heald

ALL DRIVERS MUST BE REGISTERED AND PAID BY THE DRIVERS MEETING. WE WILL NOT HOLD THE EVENT. PLEASE SHOW RESPECT AND SHOW UP ON TIME.
