Diamont makes AM 865 in a spray can. It has a slight metalic flake to it but if you paint on the outside it won't matter.

I took Drumbeaters reomendation and picked up a 15 oz. can of Bulldog a Klean Strip product. Acording to Klean Strip you can paint any plastic, rubber or glass and the paint will bond. But thanks for the information. |

| I used this stuff when painting some rubbermaid feeling parts on my truck. Made it stick VERY well and never chipped or cracked off. It was kinda on the spendy side, but did its job. I think I paid $16 for a tall can (Like the tallest wd40 cans) which actually lasted quite a while.

All done with Krylon spray paint and backed with Krylon "chrome" that I got all Wallmart for under $10 total. No chips yet and I bash it pretty hard. The only prep was scuffing the inside with the rough side of a 2 sided dish sponge. Last edited by sdwk; 06-30-2008 at 05:13 PM. |
