Default Grand Cherokee Body

Hello everyone. I was wondering if anyone knew of a company that made a Jeep Grand Cherokee body of the 99'-04' body style? I want to do a build to go along with my 1:1.

Thanks,
Justin

Toy's "R" Us' Fastlane series of rc's used to sell that body style in the late 90's on a "monster truck" chassis that it shared with the then new Silverado and later on the Liberty. You'd probably have a snowballs chance of finding a decent one now though.

This is the body that BJoe is talking about. It is available at Toys R us for $49.99, in fact I just bought another one last week. It is small (closer to 1/12th scale) but looks good as a 1.9 scaler.

good luck like said best bet is to look around at toy stores for a generic RC and hope ya find somethin , with the popularity of jeep specially the XJ(cherokee) you'd think companies would jump on the design but i guess they arent that desperate for new ideas...one day

That one

IIRC that model was made in '99 and maybe '00 then replaced with the Liberty in '01. They were nice looking shells, kinda wish I'd bought one when I was still at Toy's "R" Us

FYI
Grand Cherokee
through 98' - ZJ
99 -04 - WJ
05 to present - WK

Liberty replaced the Cherokee not the Grand Cherokee

I'd be all over a WK2 body. But since the off-road aftermarket for WK2 models is pretty much limited to floor mats, I'm not holding my breath.

This is a new WJ 99-04 body on eBay. It says made in Taiwan. Been looking out for it for years.

This is a quick mock up on my SCX10 chassis

Yeah, I've been looking for WJs for years. I got a really nice 1/8.6 styrene one but too good to wheel. This is an ABS Plastic 1/10. It comes with perspex front and rear lights, n side mirrors
