Here is one on my old comp truck. These were bolted to the chassis.



And this is on my current sportsman truck



These are integrated into the chassis.

what gage metal is everyone using to make there boatsides? i think i am going to try to make some on my honcho body

Remade my Wreckluse sides with .025 aluminum sheet, and they are more than an 1".

Not all exactly "boatsides" but along those lines. Makes a great way to mount a body though
