are there any lexan bodies that will tuck a 2.8 tire? my axles are 14 inches outside bead to outside bead adn the tires sit 6 inches tall. i think i am in short course territory and if thats what i comes to then ok. i have a proline cherokee and its super compcut just to keep the rubbing down and it still rubs like crazy. any help is appreciated |

because my truck is oddball, changing wheels and tires would mean changing hubs. it would run $100 or more and i cant quite justify that. plus i love that my truck is bigger that everyone elses |

The FG trucks are really big... not sure about 14" though. I'm sure you can find specs if ya hunt for them.

well this is a 1/10 Cherokee and its to small. a 1/8 assosiated body is almost an inch to narrow but i could make that work. i just wanted to see what else is out there and apparently not much lol btw i have a completley new chassie not. its not a crawler anymore |

1/10 sct bodies are about 11.5" wide at the wheelwells. I don't know how big you want to go but maybe 1/6 new bright Jeep body would fit. They're like 12" wide I believe. |

that might work but id need to test fit. i can also take about 1.5 inches off the width by cutting my hubs. i

the FG and new bright bodies are 100+ dollar options there really no way,or cheap option to tuck a tire that big on a body that small. 1/10th axles are almost as wide as any 1/10th body out there what kind of hubs are you running? best i can come up with is a wide set of flairs and a 1.9 wheel/tire and loose whatever hubs your running maybe go with mini axles, but you'll still need smaller wheels/tires and loose the hubs |

well changing the axles would make it a completely different truck, and i like how i am pretty much the biggest thing on the trail. my truck was $160ish shipped to my door so if i cant buy the parts to make it right, its no real loss. now,l the hubs are stock, and they have a stupid design. each hub is about 1.5 inches wide. i could take 2 inches off the width of the truck with a hacksaw Wheel axles (orange) my truck isn't a crawler anymore, i made a ladder frame for it. all that's left is the axles and springs. there's a build thread on another forum where a guy put a short course looking body on a wraith and i thought it looked pretty good. |
