Sure..... An atlas to give you directions to the nearest hobbyshop:P. All seriousness lexan requires a "flexible" paint that will properly adhere to it. Otherwise the body will very quickly develop a case of leporacy and start to flake apart

Thought maybe there was something. It's a long haul to the nearest hobby shop for me. Middle TN doesn't have much and I live out in the sticks. 70 mile round trip for a can of 4 dollar paint.

I found out myself that lexan shells need lexan paint. I tried painting my first slash shell with a plastics paint, but it all chipped away

If its too far of a drive to the hobby shop why don't you just order some paint? That's what I usually so.

That will work on a hardbody shell like the Tamaiya's or New Brights but will still flake off a lexan body. | |

I usually use Faskolor or Creatix airbrush paint, but I have used The Fusion paint with success on Lexan. If you do some research you'll see results are mixed and surface prep is very important if you try it.

I have a Honcho cab that was painted with what looks like regular Krylon and no surface prep. I can flex the lexan with one finger and you hear cracking and the paint lifts off lol.

Well, I just bit the bullet and made the drive. Stocked up on Pactra now... and a few other things. |

I can also speak from experience. Krylon fusion does not work very well either.
