|  Looking for flat tan rattle can paint for lexan
Thread title says it all. I want to throw a flat tan paint job on my SCX10 Honcho body (painting on the outside,) and am just wondering if anybody knows of a good brand. Thanks! |

Any paint u put on the outsides guna get scratched so krylon works good that's what I used

I've heard plasti dip can be a bit heavy in this application. Can anyone confirm/deny?

I looked high and low for a can of lexan tan. Krylon and Valspar make a Tan for plastics. The Krylon is a little more desert tan and Valspar is more of a cream color. Both sell a adhesion promoter spray that you spray on first. I used the promoter and Valspar on the inside of my Honcho and I'm happy with it so far. Only place I could find the plasti dip tan was on line. Wanted to use plasti dip but didn't want to wait for it.

or paint a base with the poly paint so it bites, then spray on top with anything.
