Default would like advise on air brushing

Howdy, I'm hoping to paint my Dingo body in a sand/tan-ish color, I cant seem to find any spray paint, so that leaves me with trying air brushing for the first time. I have been given an air brush "system"-a gun, hose and a can of compressed air, but I have no idea where to start. can someone point me in the direction of air brushing 101 ?

Thanks!

I'm not a painter. Let's get this clear off the bat
However... my friend Dunn Graphics is and has been a long while, and he paints out of my shop, and I have been watching him awhile..

My only .02 cents, ditch the air can, too many variables I think, pressure, moisture, clumsiness..etc etc.

Here's a few links take them for what they are worth.. google is your friend.

This is a part 1 of like 12 YouTube series:
How To Airbrush Your RC Car Part 1 The Tools - YouTube

Another "beginners guide" - explains a lot of the reasons for airbrushing tools/items -
How to airbrush for beginners - YouTube

Anyways, hope that helps some.

And a shameless plug for my friend

Thanks for the input! I'm headed to the LHS for paint this weekend and will practice on a couple bottles, then let it have it!
