Wraith Paint & Body Ideas

So, I have a Wraith RTR that I've been tinkering on.....stock panels.

AS YOU KNOW, the roof panel is some seriously solid stock and the side panels aren't bad either. At this point, I don't want to buy another stock just so I can paint a stock body another color, SO....I think my best option is to paint the panel from the top. Removing graphics and painting on the underside seems really difficult to me.

ANY tips or considerations? I'm probably going to have to expect lots of scratches and maybe some chips and flat looking paint.

sand the hell out of it and it won't chip, only scratch. painted mine after a good sanding and it came out sweet! put some clear on it when your done if you want. it will look a lot better! i went to south high, grew up in redondo! over by rat beach is some good rocks!

Dont be afraid to paint the roll cage / chassis too. It looks great IMO. Adds some "pop" to it.

Thanks guys.....I'm going to try it. What could go wrong, right? I've been wanting to paint the chassis with either plasti-dip OR rustoleum bed liner paint. When I get it done, I'll post up.
