Does anybody know where to get a good jeep TJ body for under $100? I want to replicate my TJ

All the ones I have seen are from New Bright/Nikko toys. Check ebay and you can get them for $50 or less. They are short wheelbase bodies (about 10 inches) but make awesome little trucks.

There was a whole section of TJs at the event I went to this past weekend.

The green one is on a MST CMX or CFX, the others are shortened Axial platforms.

That's what I think. But I stopped caring about Jeeps when they lost the V8.

Nikko ones seem to be cheaper than the New Bright ones. There isn't a whole lot of differences between the two.

In general, the key to finding them cheap is to search for someone selling them as a broken toy. They usually cost 2-3X as much when they are listed as a RC body.

Here is one in pretty good condition for $25.

Thanks. I will think about that one. I'm still not sure what chassis to use though. I will have to shop around.

The New Bright is much more scale looking than the Nikko, imo. The Nikko is kind of oddly longer in the front. Also, when buying the New Bright on ebay, be absolutely sure of the dimensions, because they make a 1/14 scale that looks identical to the 1/10 and can be difficult to tell without actual measurements.

Thanks, I never thought of that, I will try and either look a little harder on eBay, or see if any stores may still have them in stock.
