Tamiya PS-24 backing colors?

Has anyone had experience backing PS-24 Fluorescent Orange with anything other than white? I'm looking to get more of a darker metallic effect so I'm thinking of backing it with PS-12 Silver. Also thought about backing it with PS-52 Gold Anodized, but I'm wondering if anyone has tried any other combos? My body should be arriving today so I can test some stuff out on the scrap lexan, but thought I'd try to get pointed in the right direction without wasting too much paint.

This is the look I'm going for.

I am going to paint my power wagon 2 tone, camel yellow ( PS19 ) and black.

I will back the yellow with white, and then after that go over that with black as i will put in seats and so on so a white cabin would look silly.

I back everything with silver (PS-12), then again with black (PS-5), the silver covers very nice, the black even better.
One coat of each is enough.
The black is just so you don't see bodycolor or silver through the windows.
This recipe has always worked for me, even when painting white (PS1) and the very thin metallic red (PS15).
For multiple colors I paint dark to light, then again, back with silver and black.

I have backed orange with gold and copper. Copper turns it kind of a burnt orange metallic.

Nice. I'm gonna attempt to get some painting done this weekend. I've got a can of copper left over so I'll test it on some scraps.
