Default Vinal stickers and clear coat

Anyone have any recommendations for a clear coat to go over vinal stickers? Or is this a bad idea? Was looking for something to protect the stockers a little to avoid peeling edges up in rollovers.

There is clear, UV protectant film that you can buy for decals.

As far as clear coat paint, I'd be curious which ones are decal safe as well.

None. Anything worth using will get under the edges and loosen the adhesive.
I generally paint a coat of modge podge along the edges to seal them, then shoot my clear coat over it.

Works like a charm.

I had a 09 Triumph motorcycle the stock tank decals had been cleared over at the factory so there is a way to properly due it. Guessing the quality of the decal material has a lot to do with it.

There are lots of different qualities of vinyl. Some are designed to be outside and come with fade warranties of 5+ years. We’ve all seen decals on 1:1 cars that are faded. Most likely it was made from a vinyl not designed for outdoors.
