Default Pactra Lime Ice paint Metallic paint

I like metallic paints and have always had good results with Duratrax paint. I was looking at colors and really like the Pactra Lime ice but I have not used Pactra paints before.

Does anyone have experience with this color and can you offer any tips or
suggestions for me.

Thanks

It's a fantastic color. I've used it multiple times. You just have to back it with pactra backing black to make the color really pop. Here is an example of the paint on my savage flux with proline raptor body.

That looks good. Does it have great coverage or does it require lots of coats?

Thanks. I just do 2 coats of the lime ice and one coat of the backing black. One can lasted me 3 paint jobs. One whole body and two flame jobs like this one. I would have to say it's still my favorite color to paint by far.

Pactra was the GO TO paint years back, before the duratrax phenomenon, Most colors are noticeably brighter with white backing, where black , silver, or gold will make a difference. Using BOTH black and white gives shadowing and can be quite different!.

I painted a Dingo body with it years ago, I liked the color. It had a nice metallic shine to it, definitely not a color that you saw everywhere. I remembered that it covered well, it was just a bit hard to get into a tight crevice.
