IMHO, the best body, bumpers, and wheels of the current Axial lineup. Wish they were true beadlocks, of course! Finally, some decent bumpers again. The grille is really nice... Now, we just need an aftermarket removable hardtop. |

| Re: Axial body ?? Didn't realize you also started that other thread. So now I'm really confused why you wouldn't just add those photos to the original thread. Multiple threads create clutter and that's why forums become impossible to find what you need when searching... |

| Re: Axial body ?? It seems to me like every Axial cage looks exactly the same. A removable top with a DMG stiffy kit would set that thing up

It would also look pretty decent with a well-designed soft-top... BTW - This thread is at least named correctly - the other thread is entitled "Axial C-10", which this is not. (And Frank got himself another "1st" post, burnin' that midnight oil!) |

This blazer body and bumpers makes me want to get my first axial rig.

| Re: Axial body ?? IMHO it will look better with a smaller diameter set of tires - and possibly also with 1.7" wheels instead of 1.9". I've never been a fan of the side trim strip being noticeably lower in front of the front wheel compared to further down the truck - but that's true to the 1:1. I'd peel it off! Or maybe everyone's brains are needing rewiring from so many Jeeps/Broncos/Toyotas? Also, the Vaterra Ascender is notoriously "off", compared to a 1:1... (even tho' I still lerv mine!) Here's a '75 GMC in a similar color, with the roof off: Yet another: Last edited by durok; 06-22-2018 at 07:39 PM. |

The profile on the Axial is too short. The cage is low and the driver has a small head. p[ QUOTE=redemon;5844451]Im not a fan of the Blazer. Just looks off.[/QUOTE] Quote:
