Default SCX10.3 Cliffhanger

Has anybody done it yet? I think it would make a huge improvement over the stock JLU body. I just wonder how well it will fit over the inner fenders specifically. The bumpers and sliders are adjustable so I'm not worried about those. Does anybody have pictures to share?

The cliffhanger body is too narrow in the front and rear to clear the inner fenders, they may fit with some drastic trimming but aside from that it would be a no go

Yeah, I did it. You'd have to trim the fenders if you still wanted fenders. I just took them off. I ended up making a custom front bumper mount for the IERC bumper, and a custom rear bumper so I could mount the DSM recovery system.

So for some reason I took this as a challenge. Ignore the dirt and sand, we went out crawling earlier. This is what you need to trim to get the inner fenders to fit in the cliffhanger body.

Any chance I could see a pic from the underside with the body on? I have a 10.3/vfd build I'm planning for AF with the same body.

Sorry I didnt see your comment DrNeptune. System wont let me reply to your PM, so I'm replying here.

This is what I'm running for a rock slider. They've held up to some pretty impressive trail abuse so far. I got frustrated with the way the stock ones caught on everything.

Also, here is the rear bumper and also a front bumper mount.

Hopefully these help!
