I am in the process of fitting a proline cliffhanger body on my capra. It has a recessed bed that doesn't work, so I cut out the bed of a rc4wd 2001 Tacoma (incase anybody cares). My question is, is a hair dryer hot enough to bend lexan and make it stay? I thought I got the plastic hot, but even after 24hrs with weight and clips, it still goes back. I couldn't find my heart gun and my wife had short hair now, so I don't think she'll miss the hair dryer for a bit. I'll add my pictures. Can I get the panel hotter without worrying about the capra frame? First picture is after heat and about 24 hours, second is with clips removed, after 24 hours. And the obligatory plan shot.
