| A screw up that turned out well
So, I was painting a cliffhanger body with my detail spray gun, and an absolutely beautiful lime gold I created. First coat went down well. About half way through the second coat, the gun started spitting big globs of paint. I still don't know why it happed, but it did. So instead of getting mad, I changed direction. I pulled the film, switched the window masks to the outside of the body, and sprayed it with 4 coats of Krylon Fusion metallic gun metal grey, sprayed the hood satin black, and covered it all with two coats of matte clear. Then sanded/weathered the outside so that the yellow underneath was peeking through so it looks like the latest paint job has been sunburnt to death. I think it turned out well for a screw up. |

I like it! Looks like somebody spray painted it black and then took it on the trails. I love weathered/weathering bodies! __________________ Amain Addict |
