Default Advice needed for blacking out the chrome trim on a TRX4M high trail F-150

I have the F-150 trx4m in blue. Thinking it'd look pretty sharp with all the chrome trim blacked out. Most of the parts look like they had pegs going through holes in the body that were then melted and squished down to hold them in place. Any tips or tricks or advice on how to go about removing them, what paint to use, and anything else relevant to help not screw this up? I'm undecided if I want to go flat or gloss black.

That would allow flush removal.Bleach or yellow easy off . Parts in ziplock, start with bleach. You’ll know in a half hour if it works. If not remove rinse and dry . Then easy off same way. Wear gloves and eye protection and do it outside. Now prime and paint. Shoe goo to replace them, use tape to setup until dry

Hmmm first part is missing?

What it was is Sharp sprue cutters or a Dremel and wheel, keep it slow. Cut or grind the ends off then remove chrome

I completely de-chromed some Axial wheels & other plastic parts using purple power cleaner - just leave the parts in the cleaner for a few hours and the chrome is melted away without touching the plastic itself.
