That looks great. Bass boat style. Nice job. Great name too. My brother has an airbrush he never uses. I need to pull that thing out next time I paint a body. Colors like this just can't be found in a rattlecan... |

very nice on the ride. The only weather my car doesn't see is snow. Cleaning it sucks but it's worth it to take care of something you have SOO much time and money into.. Just like the wife.. ha ha

Nice paint job! And your Deuce is just too sweet. I really dig the look with the Halibrands on it! |

Amazing garage!!! I have a 61 fairlane 2dr post... but sadly my car does see a bit of snow around the tires, and on top of her cover... BTW that tin ramp truck in the background would make a killer scale transporter..... just a sick thought from a sick mind.. (dont stop the flake.. RF says every time you flake another new rodder is born....) Quote:

The old school flames are great. Did you spray the flake or add it by hand? If you sprayed it what did you use. |

| I used Faskolor for the 1st time. You mix the flake with Faskoat ( sp ). Shoot it and then come back with your color ( s ). I was a lil over 50 psi and a big tip on the flake.

Well, the sun came out. Grabbed the cam and the sun split mostly. Here's a couple of poser pics. Didn't come out too well, but it does sparkle !!

What airbrush/compressor setup are you using? I have wanted an airbrush for years, just never had the cash...until now.

YEAH! love that paint job.....reminds me of a '70's custom with the panels. Does the flake come mixed in the paint or do you add it? If you add it, do you sprinkle the inside of the body first?

love the paint job green flake bright bright i use faskolor white to back up and then black to shadow like a real under body for window tint transparent (golden tm ) blue green shade but i would like a darker tint to vary the colors the transparent goes on thin thin but looks good if i am patient and don't run in the window hope this helps |
