I just picked up a couple RS4 rally cars myself. It really depends on what all you want and how are you are going to run it. The problem with any that were production rally car is they are very hard to get parts for. You can also use a Losi XXX-S with minor changes as a rally car. All I had to do with mine was get longer shock on rear and sand alittle on front and longer shocks there and it is good to go. It is posted on here as "XXX-S converted to XXX-Rally" or something like that.

Get the TA02 or TA01 Chassied trucks or cars from Tamiya, they have been a good rally platform for me. THey also made a TB-01 or something like that that's also a good one and comes with a inner body so dirt stays out. I have one of those. Or you could even get a plain old TT01 and make a cover out of styrene to keep the dirt out. I have one of those too and love it. Pretty easy to modify and very easy to get parts for. You'll have to get some taller shocks though.

Sherline 5400 should work good for building small chassis and parts... I have a bug drag car project that is first on the list... going to have to Mill everything for it. (if nothing else for the practice) I was going to pick up an old Bridgeport but moving it would have been a problem.

Yeah, without a forklift moving a bridgeport is pretty much impossible... And it better be a medium-size forklift (some of them old things are HEAVY!)

I really wanna see that drag-bug. That sounds killer.
