Question Micro Rally Drifter?

I'm itchin for another drifter, but my local area has very little decent pavement.

Has anyone on here built a halfway decent drifter out of the Losi Micro Rally?
I've checked out some vids, but it seems to be mostly guys screwin around..

I can always keep 3 or 4 sheets of plywood in my garage to pull out for a surface when i want to..

If u don't wanna go micro. Look into micro rs4 or rc18r. I have had both of them setup as drifters and ran them inside my house

Problem is, I gotta go micro..Everything out here is gravel roads and busted-up blacktop.

i have two of the sct versions which are the same chassis just diffrent wheels but one of the issues i see is finding something small enought to make drift tires out of other than that i dont see any problems makeing it a drifter just stay away from dirt and sand with them they dont like it at all

also you can change them out to a 2.4 and brushless and could probably drift on the stock tires

also check out some of the japanese drifters on ebay that are rtr cheaper and ready to drift out the box i cant think of what they are called at the moment

I just sold my micro drifter. LOL you coulda had one CHEAP.

Lock the rear.

Got to blackstarhobbies.com
buy the 4400? kv motor

The 10250 and 8750kv motors are TOO fast for this car IMO. the blackstar motor/ esc is the best price around too for brushless micro.

Go lipo. And buy a spare dif kit for the front. Of for 3 bucks more just buy the whole diff housing and all.

Set the front springs as light as possible and put some lead up front to balance it out.

Any more questions shoot me a PM.

Good luck they are a BLAST in small spaces. i.e. garage/basement

my chassis was the team bluegroove one. and early carbon fiber found on ebay before the scheer and exotek chassis took over. If you can still find the teamblue groove one it was awesome, and cheap.

remember speed is not your friend with a drifter!
