| Sidewinder SCT/1410 1Y 3800KV motor in a XV-01
Will this combo be overkill in a XV-01? Or will this combo be a better solution? Sidewinder 3 with NC1406-4600kV or 5700KV motor Last edited by Bowler; 03-18-2015 at 02:21 AM. |

Personally I don't like the sidewinder or cc 3800. In the past I have had nothing but headaches from them. My recommendation would be a mm pro with the 4600. It's a little bit more money, but from my experience will withstand the rigorous of rally much better.

I have run sv3 in all my rally for years .. waterproof stronk low pro and easy to tune.. gtfo with that high dollar stuff. I have 3800 in one 3300 and 2900 .. all three are great .. my buddy runs a 3900 in his xv and its perfect . I also run sv3 on my wraith and comes in the wr8 .. one of the best bashers rally cars out there .. save the money for upgrades and just run sv3 esc and a motor set up you like .. I think the 4000kv system in the wr8 would be a blast in the xv

I bought a sidewinder 3 + 5700 combo for my son's TT-02 and it hauls. It's like a rocket. I had no idea out would be as fast as it is. Good to know it'll work on my WR8. I may switch the systems out. My fleabay WR8 came with a different ESC + motor combo than it ships with. Tappa who? |
