| question about crc rules
I have a question about the rules. when I see rc rally event, there are 2 or 3 cars driving together, and that does not make sense to me. unless it is a rallycross, or that you catch up to some one, you cant have rally cars side by side. Am I wrong, or am I misunderstanding the rules? |

It's rc, not 1:1. Plus in X games they race head to head. You would need alot more space to do the run behind method like the Europeans do. Again it just RC. The rules are whatever they want to make them. In North America it seems they are the only ones doing rally so they make the rules.

We race head to head in a round robin format. Each race is 3 laps. First to finish wins. During the round robin every driver races every other driver. This results in an overall standing for the day. This standing turns into a single elimination finals. There are points (similar to the wrc) for the round robin. And there are bonus points for the single elimination finals... Here's a spreadsheet of the current series. |
