Hi, Do any on you guys race on Astro or do you just bash and race on dusty track? I bought a Schumacher SST as the VX 01 was not suited to the grip due to the front mounted motor making the car hook, the SST was a good car but just a lot of hassle keeping it race ready, the track is rough with a few small jumps,I started doing an Xray as I raced them and are so simple to work on but just a lot of time went into getting it sealed up I gave up,I really want to race and bash, |

If VX 01 means XV-01, then I wouldn't agree with the statement that it isn't good for astroturf. I've been racing it on that surface couple times, and I actually like it. You just need to setup the car right (springs, oil, preload, tires), then it handles beautifully.
